When crowd went berserk for Brahmanandam
Anantapur (Andhra Pradesh: Telugu comedian Brahmanandam was mobbed by thousands of fans recently when he came here for the idol installation at Pathur Veerabrahmendra Swamy Temple. He left the venue soon after unveiling the idols.
"He was invited to unveil the idols Govindmamba Sametha Veerabrahmendra Swamy, Srimat Kalika Devi and installation of Sri Nandeeswara Dhwaja Stambham. We tried to keep it a low key affair but the public got to know and showed up in thousands," Chandrasekhar, organiser of the event, told IANS.
"He was supposed to address the gathering after unveiling the idols but he was so irked by the behaviour of the crowd that he left very quickly. The police had to intervene and control the mob which tried to approach Brahmanandam," he added.
The 58-year-old actor has appeared in over 1000 films in a career lasting over two decades. Some of his best films include "Aha Naa Pellanta", "Appula Appa Rao", "King", "Ready" and "Balupu".
He is also a recipient of the Padma Shri award.

Ali was born in a poor family in Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh, India. His father was a tailor and his mother was a housewife. He has one brother named Khayyum, who is also an actor. He married on 23 January 1994 at Mandapeta,and has two daughters and a son (Mohd. Fathima Rameezun, Mohd Abdul Subhan & Zuveria Meethi)

Ali came into the movie industry with the help of Jitu Mohan Mitra, Rajahmundry's musical company. He went to Chennai when director Bharathi Raja was looking for child actors for his movie "Seethakoka Chiluka", and was given a role. As a child Ali acted in several movies. When he was too old to be a child actor he became a comedian in Tollywood.
Director S. V. Krishna Reddy gave him comic roles in his movies, creating new roles for him. Ali developed his own style, which was popularly known as Chaata. Ali acted in Kannada movie Super (2010 Kannada film).
Ali is a brand ambassador for anti-itching medicine Manmohan Jaadoo Malaam. He became host for a talkie show called Ali Talkies in MAA TV and ATM in Gemini TV.

Ali was won best film fare awards in 2003 movie of amma nanna o tamil ammai,year of 2005 he won best film fare award and he naminated best comedian awards in the event of 2nd south indian international movie awards.
